Among my sisters there has always been a firm division line between those of us who believe fashion should be functional and comfortable (yoga pants are totally work-appropriate!) and those of us who are willing to sacrifice for style (4-inch heels are totally baseball game appropriate!). I’ll let you guess, which side I come down on – have I mentioned I backpacked around Europe in heels?

For years, I have mocked and rolled my eyes at my sisters any time they tried to convince me sweatpants could be regular day wear. Today that all ends. I am totally drinking the jogger kool-aid because, you guys, will you look at these?!?!?

Why, yes, they are totally sweatpants that happen to have PINEAPPLES on them. They’re dressy enough I can wear my new favorite summer booties with them and look ready for a date with friends, yet comfy enough if I end up on the couch, watching Odd Mom Out I don’t have to unbutton my pants.

At this point, I’d like to point out my bandana necklace, which I had originally thought might be a bit over-the-top for everyday wear, but turns out it also goes with everything. Even pineapple joggers.

The two of them are like bacon and chocolate – seems like they shouldn’t work with most things, but somehow they make everything better, and together can change your life.

But, wait, the pants keep giving! If Look 1 was “Ready to Hit the Cafe”, this look is “Saturday Morning Farmer’s Market Trying To Keep Little Hands Out of Fresh Produce”, don’t you think?

I’m totally obsessed with this sweater, also from & Apparel, which features a subtle flamingo (two words you don’t often hear together). It’s easy like a sweatshirt, but with enough oomph you don’t need to accessorize. I wear it with a straight skirt, jeans, and shorts so pretty much anytime I’m not in my joggers (and when I am).

Both of these came from my new fave online store, & Apparel, which is my spirit online store (kind of like my spirit animal, but for shopping). Everything is under $50 and cheeky as heck, which I find makes this parenting thing a whole lot easier.
