You know how sometimes you put in all this work into having fun with your kids – you go to Michael’s 1700 times, and do a ton of prep work so they can have the perfect crafting experience, and then the day of you pretty much create the entire DIY while they complain that they can’t have ice cream for breakfast? Well, this, my friends, is NOTHING LIKE THAT.
This is one of those activities that gives you a ton of bang for your buck (and I’m not just paying lip service here, har, har); your whole family can get in on it, it’s relatively inexpensive, and I can’t imagine there will ever be a time when it won’t be hilarious. No doubt, my husband feels the exact same way.
See? Tell me you don’t want to wake up to this every morning at breakfast.
Even better is that the whole family can get in on the fun. We spent an afternoon, on and off, wearing these around while we had Very Serious Conversations with each other, which, of course, made it a million times more hilarious. The pinnacle, though, was the next morning when my two-year showed up at our bedroom door, wearing a pair of the lips, really casually, like it was no big deal. It was one of my proudest parenting moments.
The kids also thought it was hysterical to kiss each other, which, in turn, made my heart explode because, omg, how much cuteness can one woman handle?
Now, I went all in and bought the twelve pack (although they also sell them individually) on Amazon, because you never know when you’re going to have a room full of people that need to be coerced into plumping up their lips. I plan on forcing friends, neighbors, the mailman, basically, anyone who stops by to try on a pair and tell me they don’t feel a little bit lighter.
And, you guys thought I was kidding.

I mean I once told G. Love I was "proud of him" like I was his 80-year old aunt. Decidedly, not cool.
What I'm most enthusiastic about? My emails. They're juicy, relatable, and pick one teensy shift a week to work on together.
